Gait therapy — walk safely again

Step by step back to mobility and independence — with the latest robotic technology and specialist therapists.

Neurological gait therapy in Graz — HOME4MOTION
What is gait therapy?

Walking is more than a step

After a stroke, or in Parkinson’s or multiple sclerosis, walking can become a daily challenge. Our neurological gait therapy in Graz and Vienna helps you walk more safely, more smoothly and with more strength — or learn to walk again from scratch.

Modern gait therapy uses specialised equipment — many will know the Lokomat — such as the Lyra gait trainer or the Perpedes system, using high-dose repetition to engage the brain’s neuroplasticity. The decisive principle: the more regular and intensive the training, the greater the progress.

At HOME4MOTION we work with you using the Lyra gait trainer and the Perpedes system — as an outpatient, individually and at the current state of the science, at our centres in Graz and Vienna.

“To walk again — safely, independently, without fear of the next step — that is our shared goal.”
What you gain

What changes for you

Our patients tell us — these are the changes they notice after gait therapy:

🦶

You walk more safely again

Your gait becomes smoother and your step more even — with more control and less uncertainty at every step.
🛡️

You fall less often

Focused balance training reduces the risk of falling and gives you back confidence in everyday life.
🏠

You are independent again

Stairs, outings, the walk to the postbox — activities that become possible again.
💪

You can see your progress

Video analysis shows you measurably how far you have come — that motivates and gives you something to be proud of.

Who is this therapy for?

Does this sound familiar?

Our gait therapy after stroke, or in Parkinson’s or MS, helps people who struggle with walking in everyday life — whether after an acute event or with a progressive condition.

If after a stroke you walk unsteadily, drag one foot or are afraid of falling — this therapy is made for you.

If Parkinson’s makes your steps smaller and less certain, if you freeze while walking or lose your balance — we know these challenges and help you specifically.

If MS or a spinal cord injury limits your mobility — with the latest robotic technology we draw out the maximum for you, whatever your starting point.
