🌱 The earlier, the more is possible
Early therapy

Even if your diagnosis is not listed here

The earlier therapy starts after an acute event, the greater the possibilities — and progress is possible years later too, because the brain keeps its ability to learn. We continue to support adults with neurological conditions as outpatients: after stroke and with Parkinson’s, MS, spinal cord injury, polyneuropathy, rare neuromuscular conditions and many other diagnoses — even if your diagnosis is not expressly listed here.

💙 Physiotherapy Gait, balance, strength — robot-assisted and evidence-based.
🍀 Occupational therapy Hand and arm, everyday activity, assistive devices and splints.
🌸 Speech and language therapy Language, speech, swallowing and voice after neurological illness.

Frequently asked questions

What we are asked most often

Answers about therapies, how things work and costs.

Do you treat all neurological conditions?▾
We specialise in neurological movement disorders in adults — particularly after stroke and brain haemorrhage, and in Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injury, complete and incomplete spinal cord injury, polyneuropathy, ALS and other neuromuscular conditions. For every diagnosis we offer physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech and language therapy matched to you. Children and young people are treated separately through HOME4MOTION Kids in Graz and Vienna. If your diagnosis is not listed, or you are unsure whether our therapy suits you, just ask us in the free initial consultation.
Do I need a referral?▾
No, a referral is not necessary. You can arrange an appointment for an initial consultation or a first session in Graz or Vienna directly and without fuss. Any letters from doctors, findings or imaging (an MRI scan, for example) are helpful for planning your therapy, but are not a condition for starting.
How soon should I start therapy?▾
The earlier the better — the first weeks and months after a stroke, traumatic brain injury or spinal cord injury usually hold the greatest potential for progress. But improvement is possible years later too: the brain keeps its neuroplasticity throughout life. With high-dose, focused intensive therapy, people with chronic neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s or MS also achieve noticeable improvement in gait, arm function or independence.
Does health insurance cover the cost?▾
HOME4MOTION is a private centre for intensive neurological therapy. Costs are therefore not paid directly by health insurance, but in many cases reimbursement afterwards is possible — depending on your insurance and your tariff. In the free initial consultation we explain the options for funding and help you submit the paperwork.
