Our site can be used without providing personal data. Different rules may apply to the use of individual services on our site; these are explained separately below where relevant. Your personal data (for example name, address, email, telephone number and the like) is processed by us only in accordance with Austrian data protection law. Data is personal when it can be clearly assigned to a particular natural person. The legal basis for data protection is set out in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), in the Data Protection Act (DSG) and in the Telecommunications Act (TKG 2021). We point out that internet-based data transmission has security gaps, and that complete protection against access by third parties is therefore impossible.
Cookies
We use cookies on our site to recognise repeated use of our service by the same user or internet connection holder. Cookies are small text files that your internet browser places and stores on your computer. They serve to optimise our website and our services. In most cases these are so-called session cookies, which are deleted again after your visit ends.
Some of these cookies, however, pass on information in order to recognise you automatically. This recognition is based on the IP address stored in the cookie. The information obtained in this way serves to optimise our services and to give you easier access to our site.
You can prevent cookies from being installed by adjusting your browser settings accordingly; we point out, however, that in that case you may not be able to use all the functions of our website in full.
Server data
For technical reasons, the following data, among others, transmitted by your internet browser to us or to our web hosting provider is recorded (so-called server log files):
– browser type and version
– operating system used
– the website from which you visit us (referrer URL)
– the website you visit
– the date and time of your access
– your Internet Protocol (IP) address.
This anonymous data is stored separately from any personal data you may have provided and therefore does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about a particular person. It is evaluated for statistical purposes, so that we can optimise our website and our services.
Newsletter
On our site we offer you the possibility of subscribing to our newsletter. With this newsletter we provide regular information about our services. To receive our newsletter you need a valid email address. We will check the email address you enter to confirm that you are in fact the holder of the address given, or that its holder has authorised receipt of the newsletter. When you sign up for our newsletter we store your IP address and the date and time of your registration. This serves as protection on our part in the event that a third party misuses your email address and subscribes to our newsletter without your knowledge. We collect no further data. The data collected in this way is used exclusively for sending our newsletter. It is not passed on to third parties. Nor is the data collected in this way compared with data that may be collected by other components of our site. You can cancel your subscription to this newsletter at any time. Details of this can be found in the confirmation email and in every individual newsletter.
Ways of contacting us
On our site we offer you the possibility of contacting us by email and/or through a contact form. In this case the details provided by the user are stored for the purpose of handling their enquiry. They are not passed on to third parties. Nor is the data collected in this way compared with data that may be collected by other components of our site.
Health data
If you provide details of your diagnosis, your difficulties or the form of therapy you are looking for through the contact form or when requesting an appointment, we process health data. This belongs to the special categories of personal data under Article 9 GDPR and is subject to particular protection.
We process these details exclusively on the basis of your express consent, which you give separately in the form (Article 9(2)(a) GDPR), and — once treatment is agreed — for the purpose of health care provided by professionals bound by professional secrecy (Article 9(2)(h) GDPR).
We use these details only to handle your enquiry and to plan and carry out your therapy. They are not passed on to third parties unless you have expressly agreed or we are legally obliged to do so. Within our centre, only the people involved in your treatment have access.
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. Health data arising from treatment is subject to statutory retention periods; enquiries that do not lead to treatment are deleted once they have been dealt with.
Use of Google Analytics with anonymisation
On our site we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter “Google”. Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, text files stored on your computer which make it possible to analyse your use of the website.
The information generated by these cookies — for example the time, place and frequency of your visit, including your IP address — is transferred to Google in the USA and stored there.
On our website we use Google Analytics with an IP anonymisation function. In this case your IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, and thereby anonymised.
Google will use this information to evaluate your use of our site, to compile reports on website activity for us and to provide further services connected with website and internet use. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required by law or where third parties process this data on Google's behalf.
According to Google, it will under no circumstances connect your IP address with other data held by Google. You can prevent cookies from being installed by adjusting your browser settings accordingly; we point out, however, that in that case you may not be able to use all the functions of our website in full.
Google also offers a deactivation option for the most common browsers, giving you more control over what data Google records and processes. If you activate this option, no information about your visit is transmitted to Google Analytics. Activating it does not, however, prevent information being transmitted to us or to other web analysis services we may use. Further information about the deactivation option provided by Google, and about activating it, is available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
Use of Google Maps
On our site we use the “Google Maps” component of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter “Google”.
Each time the “Google Maps” component is called up, Google sets a cookie in order to process user settings and data when displaying the page into which the “Google Maps” component is integrated. As a rule this cookie is not deleted when the browser is closed but expires after a certain time, unless you delete it manually beforehand.
If you do not agree to this processing of your data, you have the option of deactivating the “Google Maps” service and thereby preventing the transfer of data to Google. To do so you must deactivate the JavaScript function in your browser. We point out, however, that in this case you will not be able to use “Google Maps”, or will be able to use it only to a limited extent.
The use of “Google Maps” and of the information obtained through “Google Maps” is governed by Google's terms of use http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/terms/regional.html and by the additional terms of business for “Google Maps” https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps.html.
Use of Facebook components
On our site we use components provided by facebook.com. Facebook is a service of facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA.
Each time one of our pages equipped with such a component is called up, the component causes the browser you are using to download a corresponding representation of the component from Facebook. Through this process Facebook is informed which particular page of our website you are currently visiting.
If you call up our site while logged in to Facebook, Facebook recognises from the information collected by the component which particular page you are visiting and assigns this information to your personal Facebook account. If you click the “Like” button, for example, or leave comments, this information is transmitted to your personal user account on Facebook and stored there. In addition, the information that you have visited our site is passed on to Facebook. This happens whether or not you click on the component.
If you wish to prevent Facebook from transmitting and storing data about you and your behaviour on our website, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our site. Facebook's privacy notices provide more information on this, in particular on the collection and use of data by Facebook, on your rights in this respect and on the settings available to protect your privacy: https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy/
External tools are also available on the market with which Facebook social plugins can be blocked using add-ons for all common browsers http://webgraph.com/resources/facebookblocker/
An overview of the Facebook plugins can be found at https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/
Use of YouTube components with extended data protection mode
On our website we use components (videos) of YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA, a company of Google Inc., Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
In doing so we use the option provided by YouTube, “extended data protection mode”.
When you call up a page containing an embedded video, a connection to the YouTube servers is established and the content is displayed on the web page by notification to your browser.
According to YouTube, in “extended data protection mode” data is transmitted to the YouTube server only when you watch the video — in particular, which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged in to YouTube at the same time, this information is assigned to your YouTube member account. You can prevent this by logging out of your member account before visiting our website.
Further information on data protection at YouTube is provided by Google at the following link: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/
Use of Vimeo components
On our site we use components provided by Vimeo. Vimeo is a service of Vimeo LLC, 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA. Each time one of our pages equipped with such a component is called up, the component causes the browser you are using to download a corresponding representation of the component from Vimeo. If you call up our site while logged in to Vimeo, Vimeo recognises from the information collected by the component which particular page you are visiting and assigns this information to your personal Vimeo account. If you click the “Play” button, for example, or leave comments, this information is transmitted to your personal user account on Vimeo and stored there. In addition, the information that you have visited our site is passed on to Vimeo. This happens whether or not you click on the component or leave comments.
If you wish to prevent Vimeo from transmitting and storing data about you and your behaviour on our website, you must log out of Vimeo before visiting our site. Vimeo's privacy notices provide more information on this, in particular on the collection and use of data by Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/privacy
Use of Instagram
On our website we use the Instagram service. Instagram is a service of Instagram Inc. Through the embedded “Insta” button on our site, Instagram receives the information that you have called up the corresponding page of our website. If you are logged in to Instagram, Instagram can assign this visit to our site to your Instagram account and link the data accordingly. The data transmitted by clicking the “Insta” button is stored by Instagram. Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection, its processing and use, your rights in this respect and the settings available to protect your privacy can be found in Instagram's privacy notices at https://help.instagram.com/155833707900388.
To prevent Instagram from assigning your visit to our site to your Instagram account, you must log out of your Instagram account before visiting our site.
Use of LinkedIn
Our website uses functions of the social media network LinkedIn. The provider is LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Each time one of our pages containing LinkedIn functions is called up, a connection to LinkedIn's servers is established. LinkedIn is informed that you have visited our pages with your IP address. If you click LinkedIn's buttons while logged in to your LinkedIn account, LinkedIn can assign your visit to our website to you and to your user account. We point out that, as the provider of these pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the data transmitted or of its use by LinkedIn. Further information can be found in LinkedIn's privacy policy at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Use of Google Ads
To advertise our website we also use the Google advertising tool “Google Ads”. In this context we use the analysis service “conversion tracking” of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter “Google”. If you have reached our website through a Google advert, a cookie is placed on your computer. Cookies are small text files that your internet browser places and stores on your computer. These so-called conversion cookies expire after 30 days and do not serve to identify you personally. If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognise that you as a user clicked on one of our adverts placed with Google and were forwarded to our site.
The information gathered with the help of conversion cookies serves Google in compiling visit statistics for our website. From these statistics we learn the total number of users who clicked on our advert, and which pages of our website each user subsequently called up. Neither we nor other advertisers using Google Ads receive any information with which users could be personally identified.
You can prevent conversion cookies from being installed by adjusting your browser settings accordingly — for example with a browser setting that generally disables the automatic placing of cookies, or one that blocks only cookies from the domain “googleadservices.com”.
Google's privacy policy on this is available at the following link: https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html
Information / withdrawal / deletion
Under the applicable data protection law you may contact us free of charge with questions about the collection, processing or use of your personal data and about its correction, blocking or deletion, or about withdrawing consent you have given. We point out that you have a right to have incorrect data corrected or personal data deleted, unless a statutory retention obligation stands in the way of that claim.
